The changes-package allows the user to manually markup changes

Changed text is shown in a different color; deleted text is striked out.

The package allows free definition of additional authors

It also allows you to change the markup of changes, authors,
highlights or comments.
Release 3.2.0 introduces support of nested brackets in
the script for markup removal.
Release 3.2.1 is a bugfix release, removing obsolete
package pdfcolmk.

problem when LaTeX 2019-10-01 patch level 1-3 is used with amsmath
(math accents), which crashed Mathastext macro at time of
defining its own hbar; related fix to an oversight of previous
release which led mathastext hbar being ignored with
recent LaTeX in presence of amsfonts, for example. And finally
fix a 1.3u bug with noendash option under Unicode engines.
