ewfont command
Announcement text:

This package provides a new command

invoking a font command defined by
ewfontx. The new command will be
useful to users who know much of the old
ewfont command but are
unfamiliar with the detail of NFSS.

bxenclose
package.
Version number: 0.2
License type: other-free
Summary description: Enclose the document body with some pieces of code
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The package enables authors to designate in the preamble to make the
document body enclosed with the given pieces of code. As is known,
there are already various mechanisms provided by LaTeX kernel or
packages that attach “hooks” at the beginning and end of documents.
This package tries harder to win the race, that is, place the given
code as close to the real document body as possible.

Robert Alessi submitted the
arabluatex
package.
Version number: 1.0.1
License type: gpl2
Summary description: An ArabTeX-like interface for LuaLaTeX
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This package provides for an ArabTeX-like interface to generate Arabic
writing from an ascii transliteration. It is particularly well-suited
for complex documents such as technical documents or critical editions
where a lot of left-to-right commands intertwine with Arabic writing.
arabluatex is able to process any ArabTeX input notation. Its output
can be set in the same modes of vocalization as ArabTeX, or in
different roman transliterations. It further allows many typographical
refinements. It will eventually interact with some other packages yet
to come to produce from .tex source files, in addition to printed
books, TEI xml compliant critical editions and/or lexicons that can be
searched, analyzed and correlated in various ways.
