For the CTAN team
Nicola Talbot submitted an update to the
glossaries
package.
Version number: 4.04
License type: lppl
Summary description: Create glossaries and lists of acronyms.
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
* glossaries.sty:
- There are now three ways of creating glossaries:
(1) using makeindex;
(2) using xindy;
(3) using TeX (new this version).
The new method (using TeX instead of makeindex/xindy)
uses the new commands: makenoidxglossaries,
printnoidxglossary and printnoidxglossaries
(Analogous to makeglossaries, printglossary
and printglossaries).
This new method allows independent sort methods for
individual glossaries, which isn't available for the
makeindex/xindy methods.
- New package option noredefwarn
- Minor bug fixes
makeglossaries:
- Added new switches: -Q and -k
- Added more diagnostics

Alex Ball submitted the
dccpaper
package.
Version number: 1.1
License type: lppl1.3
Summary description: Typeset papers for the International Journal of
Digital Curation
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The dccpaper bundle consists of two very similar classes.
ijdc-v9.cls corresponds to the template used by the International
Journal of Digital Curation, beginning with volume 9. idcc.cls
corresponds to the template used for the International Digital Curation
Conference, beginning with IDCC15. An earlier version of ijdc-v9.cls
was made available through the IJDC website. This version, the first
released through CTAN, has been thoroughly tidied and refactored,
allowing for idcc.cls to be added.

Jean-François Burnol submitted an update to the
etoc
package.
Version number: 1.07k
License type: lppl
Summary description: Completely customisable TOCs
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Etoc and tocloft may now be used concurrently in the same
document. In compatibility mode, etoc will obey the customizing
done by tocloft both for the contents and the title of the
table of contents; etoc's depth tags, localtableofcontents,
label+ref mechanism are functional. It is possible to use etoc
contents and title styles for one TOC and tocloft's for another
one (tocloft should be loaded before etoc, else a warning will
be issued.)
Also, better compatibility with the memoir class,
and one more example of etoc line styles specification has been
added to the documentation.
