On Wed, 1 Aug 2012 Markus Kohm submitted the
gs1
package.
Summary description: GS1 codes and bar codes (currently EAN-8 and EAN-13 only) using expl3
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
GS1 started to handle codes specified by the GS1 specification. It can generate
the control digits of some GS1 codes and some bar codes corresponding with the
GS1 codes. It depends on stable expl3 packages and the sub-package rule-D only.
There's an additional sub-package rule-D, that provides L3 functions
ule:nn
and
ule:nnn similar to LaTeX2e
ule command.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This package is located at
http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/gs1
. More information is at
http://www.ctan.org/pkg/gs1
(if the package is new it may take a day for that information to
appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org .
Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html .

Thanks for the upload.

as always, thanks for the uploads; the updates should have made their
way around the world by now, and are now in tex live (though possibly
not yet at every mirror).
