On Thu, 30 Aug 2012 Maïeul ROUQUETTE submitted an update to the
ledmac and ledpar
packages.
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A minor correction is debug with lineation command.
A major change is the add of new commands to allow easy customization of critical footnotes.
These commands are :
-
umberonlyfirstinline[series]
- symlinenum[series]
-
onumberinfootnote[series]
-
onumberthisnote
- eforenumberinfootnote[series]{length}
- afternumberinfootnote[series]{length}
- eforesymlinenum[series]{length}
- aftersymlinenum[series]{length}
- inplaceofnumber[series]{length}
- lemmaseparator[series]{text}
- eforelemamseparator[series]{length}
- afterlemmaseparator[series]{length}
-
olemmaseparator[series]
- afternote[series]{length}
- parafootsep[series]{text}
These commandes are documented on page 17 and next. I think they makes personal Xfootmt commands deprecated.
But for people how wanted to conserv their own definition of Xfootmt, they should replace
defXfootmt#1#2#3{code}
or
ewcommand{Xfootmt}[3]{code}
by
ewcommandx{Xfootmt}[4][4]{code}.
Note this version requires package xargs and etoolbox, which are in all recent TeX distribution.

On Mon, 27 Aug 2012 Markus Kohm submitted an update to the
gs1
package.
Summary description: GS1 codes and bar codes (currently EAN-8 and EAN-13 only) using expl3
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
GS1 started to handle codes specified by the GS1 specification. It can generate
the control digits of some GS1 codes and some bar codes corresponding with the
GS1 codes. It depends on stable expl3 packages and the sub-package rule-D only.
There's an additional sub-package rule-D, that provides L3 functions
ule:nn
and
ule:nnn similar to LaTeX2e
ule command.
Major changes:
- Options scale and scale_to_font implemented.
- Works with expl3 2012/08/14 v4091.

pgfplots
package.
Summary description: Create normal/logarithmic plots in two and three dimensions for LaTeX.
License type: gpl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1.6.1:
- fixed incompatibility lualatex,shader=interp, and german package (introduced in 1.6)
1.6:
- added support for layered graphics (main use case: multiple axes and layers)
- added support for second colormap in mesh plots (mesh/interior colormap name)
- added support for scopes inside of axes
- contour plots: added ability to provide list of discrete labels (mesh/levels)
- empty lines are interpreted as interruptions in data plots (was undocumented since 1.4)
- added more scaling options to 'scale mode=scale uniformly' (affects axis equal in 3d
and addplot3 graphics)
- fixed wrong implementation of 'axis equal' and 'unit vector ratio' in 3d
(backwards compatible for 2d, but not for 3d - the 3d implementation was plain wrong)
- fixed incompatibility of lualatex and shader=interp
- fixed bugs/added features around addplot3 graphics
- fixed bug: colorbar did not support ymode=log
- fixed a couple of minor bugs
- fixed bounding box computation for clip=false,axis lines=none
