On Fri, 24 Jun 2011 Tobias Schlemmer submitted the
tsemlines
package.
Summary description: Support for the ancient emline macro
License type: pd
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sometimes old LaTeX documents generated with TeXcad are hanging around, which
make use of specials that were introduced in emTeX. Tough some DVI drivers
supported these specials, recend pdfTeX doesn't.
This package provides a workaround for those users, who don't want to change
their picture sources and are willing to load TikZ instead.
So far the package does only emulate emlines. It does not support the emTeX
specials.

On Fri, 24 Jun 2011 Heiko Oberdiek submitted an update to the
latex-tds
package.
License type: lppl
Announcement text: Yes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
CTAN's package description:
This bundle provides a set of zip file modules containing
TDS (tds)-compliant trees for items of the LaTeX distribution
(both the base system and required packages), together with
`user-friendly' documentation (PDF files with navigation support
using bookmarks and links).
A further module (knuth) performs the same service for Knuth's
software distribution (knuth-dist).
Latest changes (see readme.txt):
2011/06/24
* Module amslatex: Two downloads from AMS server removed, because
the files are not longer available (and they are on CTAN).
* Module amslatex: 00readme.txt and amsrefs.dtx taken from
CTAN:macros/latex/contrib/amsrefs.zip instead of
CTAN:install/macros/latex/contrib/amsrefs.tds.zip because
the later archive file is out of sync.

On Wed, 22 Jun 2011 Scott Pakin submitted an update to the
bytefield
package.
Summary description: Create illustrations for network protocol specifications.
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The bytefield package helps the user create illustrations
for network protocol specifications and anything else that
utilizes fields of data. These illustrations show how the
bits and bytes are laid out in a packet, register, or
memory.
Version 2.1 of bytefield includes code due to Renaud Pacalet
for continuing the bit numbering when a word is typeset
split across lines; it gives \ an optional length
argument just like in a tabular; and it makes bit endianness
a full-fledged bytefield option that can be specified once
per document rather than requiring that it be specified in
each individual bytefield environment (although that too is
allowed).
