Update summary:
This minor update to ifplatform corrects its behaviour under LuaTeX,
in which it no longer relies on -shell-escape to detect the platform.
Basic package information, as sent by the contributor.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location: /macros/latex/contrib/ifplatform
Authors: Will Robertson; Johannes Große
License: lppl
Caption: Conditionals to test which platform is being used.
Description: This package uses the (La)TeX extension '-shell-escape' to
establish whether the document is being processed on a Windows or on a
Unix-like system (Mac OS X, Linux, etc.), or on Cygwin (Unix
environment over a windows system).
Booleans provided are:
*'ifwindows',
*'iflinux',
*'ifmacosx' and
*'ifcygwin'.
The package also preserves the output of 'uname' on a Unix-like
system, which may be used to distinguish between various classes of
Unix systems.

Summary description: a small extension to the memoir class for a page layout
based on circles
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Canoniclayout is a small extension to the memoir document
class that allows to design a canonic layout based of the
great circle inscribed within the page and tangent to the
horizontal sides of the text block rectangle. The margins
reflect the trimmed page shape ratio, therefore the page
block principal diagonal coincides with the corresponding
page diagonal; this layout is especially good for ISO shapes
but can be used with many other traditional book page shapes.

Caption: A script to compile pstricks documents via pdflatex.
Description: The script extracts the preamble of the document and runs
all
'egin{postscript}...end{postscript}'
*'egin{pspicture}...end{pspicture}' and
*'pspicture...endpspicture'
separately through LaTeX with the same preamble as the original
document; thus it creates EPS, PNG and PDF files of these snippets.
In a final PDFLaTeX run the script replaces the environments with
'includegraphics' to include the processed snippets.
Detail documentation is acquired from the document itself via
