Name of contribution: flashmovie
Version number: 0.2
Author's name: Timo Hartmann
Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/flashmovie
Summary description: Directly embed flash movies into PDF files.
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This package allows direct embedding of flash movies into
PDF files.
This new version (v0.2) allows one to use the open-source
flv-player (http://flv-player.net).
For convenience this player is included in this package.
With that player one can directly embed mp4s and other
video-files
into PDF files without conversion to swf.
Furthermore now playback of videos using controls is possible.
See test-flv.pdf for an example.

and of course, the change in the catalogue overnight, for this one, will
amount to no more than a slight twitch in the royal net curtains.

For the CTAN team
(who happens to know that queen brenda is in charge of more than just
the uk [including the isle of man, the channel islands and various other
odd bits and pieces] but nowhere near as much as her father was emperor
of -- we used to have an embarrassingly large empire which has mostly
been dismantled, starting with the independence of india in the year of
my birth.)
the daemon's beginning to feel there some meaning to his life...
