Once defined, a Perl macro becomes indistinguishable from any other LaTeX macro. PerlTeX thereby combines LaTeX's typesetting power with Perl's programmability. The driver file `pdftex.def for package `color' defines and uses a main color stack since version v0.04b. Package `pdfcol' is intended for package writers. It defines macros for setting and maintaining new color stacks. * pdfcolparallel v1.0 Since version 1.40 pdfTeX supports several color stacks. This package uses them to fix color problems in package `parallel'. * pdfcolparcolumns v1.0 Since version 1.40 pdfTeX supports several color stacks. This package uses them to fix color problems in package `parcolumns'. * soulutf8 v1.0 This package extends package `soul' and adds some support for UTF-8. Namely the input encodings `utf8.def' from package `inputenc' and `utf8x.def' from package `ucs' are supported. New main version: * alphalph v2.0 The package provides methods to represent numbers with a limited set of symbols. Both LaTeX and plain-TeX are supported. * New implementation that uses package `intcalc'. I apologize; there was an outage on the machine that houses http://www.ctan.org and ftp://tug.ctan.org and I was unaware so it was down for some time. I believe that it is fixed now. It seems that someone went in my ceiling and did something bad to my power. Fortunately, the power strip died to save the box, and the box appeared to come back up fine. Power strip, we salute you! It was adapted to the AMS, beamer, KOMA, NTG, and SMF document classes, the french babel & the frenchle/pro packages; furthermore it supports the floatflt, fltpage, picinpar, picins, threeparttable, and wrapfig package now. Additionally it's now more compatible to version 1.x of the caption package than its precursor. Due to an internal change on how it patches the caption relevant commands, it's also more compatible to the document classes and packages it supports now (and offers an integrated hypcap functionality), but unfortunately also more incompatible to the ones it does not support (yet).
