Name of contribution: mlist
Author's name: Will Robertson
Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/mlist
Summary description: Separation of form/content for maths `lists'
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Consider this package an exploration of separation of form and content
for some mathematical constructions.
This package defines the commands
ewvect,
ewmatr, and
ewfunc for
creating macros to typeset vectors, matrices, and functions. For
example, Logical indexing can then be used to refer to elements or
arguments without hard-coding the symbols in the document:
ewvectmyvect{V}[elem=a,b,c]
myvect{1,2,3}
produces
left( V_a, V_b, V_c
ight)
All aspects of the typeset appearance can be adjusted, and new `mlists'
can be defined to represent other mathematical constructs.

i have installed the new version of the script, and removed the old
(windows) c-coded version which was out of date, buggy and whose
maintainers we could not contact.
thanks for the upload.

i have updated the catalogue repository, but not regenerated the web
pages. the web catalogue entry
http://www.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/help/Catalogue/entries/epstopdf.html
should reflect the new situation by about 0100 local time here.

The AeB Pro eEnvelope System (APES)
LaTeX package that uses the concept of an eEnvelope to attached files.
The system uses any one of four provided eEnvelope templates, or can
use a custom designed template. The AeB Pro package is required to
attach documents to the eEnvelope. The AeB Pro, hence eEnvelope,
requires Acrobat Pro, version 7.0 or later, and requires the document
author to create PDF using distiller.
Be sure to get the latest aeb_pro.zip and acrotex.zip distributions
(in the latter case, all you need is acrotex_pack.zip) if you already
have installed the full distribution.

Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/philosophersimprint
Summary description: Typesetting articles for online journal
``Philosophers' Imprint''
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As said in its mission statement at
http://www.philosophersimprint.org, ``Philosophers' Imprint is a
refereed series of original papers in philosophy, edited by philosophy
faculty at the University of Michigan, with the advice of an
international Board of Editors, and published on the World Wide Web by
the University of Michigan Digital Library. The mission of the Imprint
is to promote a future in which funds currently spent on journal
subscriptions are redirected to the dissemination of scholarship for
free, via the Internet.'' The journal used to accept manuscripts in
Rich Text Format only. However, for many authors, especially from the
field of logic, TeX seems to be a better choice. I was commissioned
to write a LaTeX class for this journal.
The aim of the class is to help authors to typeset their own
articles in the ``Web-ready'' format. We do not assume the authors
have any commercial fonts installed on their machines. The class
uses only freely available and freely distributed fonts.
