Unfortunately, pkfix needs to parse certain PostScript comments that appear only in files produced by dvips versions later than 5.58 (ca. 1996); it fails to work on PostScript files produced by older versions of dvips. pkfix-helper is a program that attempts to insert newer-dvips comments into an older-dvips PostScript file, thereby making the file suitable for processing by pkfix. pkfix-helper can sometimes process documents fully autonomously but does require the user to verify and, if needed, correct its decisions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- See this package at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/support/pkfix-helper . The present update deals with includeonly, counting of small possible lemmas in a line, oscillating page breaks, ... Namely: 1. ednotes now works with includeonly. This may be helpful with editing a work consisting of books (libri) or a collection of rather large single works. 2. The mechanism for identifying a word in a lemma when it occurs multiply in a line (option `countoccurrences') didn't work when the first countword appeared in a lemma tag -- fixed. 3. Additional screen (.log) messages concerning not-yet- working (properly) (line/place number) references. 4. Concerning oscillating page breaks (also certain effects of marginpar on footnotes), a variant warningpagebreak of pagebreak has been added for reminding you of checking whether your manual page breaks are still appropriate when preceding page breaks have changed. 5. I have changed the algorithm of displaying page numbers when a lemma crosses a page break. The difference anyway should show up only when, due to some LaTeX bug, a footnote doesn't start on the page where the lemma starts to which it refers. (In this case the page number of the lemma end is displayed in any case. On Wed, 14 Jun 2006 Josef Kleber submitted a new pacakge called dvdcoll to CTAN. Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/dvdcoll/ Summary description: A new class dvdcoll.cls for typesetting DVD archives License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- One day i lost the overview over my DVD archives. I simply could not remember, if i already recorded the documentary running on TV that day. This had to be changed and why not use LaTeX. So, i was dreaming of a hyperlinked and full searchable PDF-document listing my DVDs with all titles, lengths and so on. And the icing on the cake would be a list with all faulty or missing programs for rerecording. That’s exactly what dvdcoll.cls is providing. dvdcoll.cls is following the structure <number><title><length>. Therefore dvdcoll.cls is not limited to DVDs. You can of course typeset archives of CD-ROMs, Audio-CDs and so on. Supported languages at the moment: english, german.
