Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/movie15 Summary description: multimedia inclusion package License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Embedded media data are now re-used as file attachments, giving the user the possibility to extract and save the media file to disk for later playback with an external media player. Location on CTAN: /support/latexdiff Summary description: Determine and mark up significant differences between latex files License type: gpl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- latexdiff is a Perl script, which compares two latex files and marks up significant differences between them (i.e. a diff for latex files). Various options are available for visual markup using standard latex packages such as color.sty. Changes not directly affecting visible text, for example in formatting commands, are still marked in the latex source. A rudimentary revision facilility is provided by another Perl script, latexrevise, which accepts or rejects all changes. Manual editing of the difference file can be used to override this default behaviour and accept or reject selected changes only. This is a significant update (from version 0.2 to 0.3). Major changes are the introduction of CVS support, and much improved reliability for inlined math, plus several bug fixes ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for the update. On Thu, 25 Aug 2005 Alexander Grahn submitted an update to his movie15 package. This package defines includemovie with PDF-1.5 compatibility. Option 'autoplay' causes the media clip to be started right after the page has loaded. This is useful for side by side movie clips to be played back synchronously. Playback of 2D media can now be paused and continued by clicking into and clicking outside the media. Following options to the inclusion command have been added: startat, stopat, palindrome, rate.
