----- Forwarded message from Harald Harders -----
I have uploaded leftidx-1_03.tar.gz to ftp.dante.de. It contains a new
version of the leftidx package. Please replace all files in
CTAN:macros/latex/contrib/leftidx by its contents. License stays LPPL.
The new version has been changed to dtx format and includes an English
documentation. The implementation has been simplyfied using vphantom
instead of mathchoice and different rules.
>From the README:
This package enables left subscripts and …
[View More]superscripts in math mode.
These subscripts and superscripts are automatically raised for better
fitting to the symbol they belong to.

Thanks for the upload. I installed it as suggested replacing the old version
in CTAN:macros/latex/contrib/leftidx/

Dear CTAN/Jim,
I have uploaded memupdate.tar.gz to tug/ctan/org/incoming. Please use the contents to replace part of macros/…
[View More]latex/contrib/memoir. The distribution is under the LPPL.
>From the README
Memoir is a flexible class for typesetting general fiction, non-fiction and mathematical works as books, reports, articles or manuscripts. Documents can use 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 or 17pt as the normal font size. Many methods are provided to let you create your own particular design.
Changes (2003/09/16)
o New version (v1.8) of mempatch.sty (major extensions to footnoting e.g., multiple styles and multiple series; a `fixed marginpar'; hooks for the ledmac package; and minor bug fixes).
o New version of the Addendum (memmanadd.pdf)
o Apart from the README, no changes to any other files
Thanks
Peter W.
