It provides a simpler front-end for code blocks, language-sensitive highlighting of numbers (hexadecimal literals, exponents, and type suffixes such as 10L in Java or 3j in Python), a drop-in replacement for the minted environment, per-language wrapper macros and environments, non-selectable line numbers based on accsupp, language badges, and definitions for a set of common languages that are loaded on demand. This is the first release on CTAN. Language definitions are installed as xlistings-<language>.cfg. Both \LoadLanguages{<language>} and private, unprefixed <language>.cfg files continue to work unchanged. The package is licensed under the LaTeX Project Public License 1.3c. This release provides extended support for a few Greek letters used as special constants and operators, with new commands. New features include the lineargroups and textshortcuts options, alternatives to the single-letter macros through the nosingleletter option, and a number of new mathematical commands, including \innerprod, \FT, \LT, \asympteq, \compl, \integerint, \floor, \H, \Hv, \dom, \codom, \ran, \ord, \supp, and \card. The \norm and \pow macros have been improved to handle normal-sized arguments, and \eqdef* has been modified to provide a better fallback when \upDelta is unavailable. Some obsolete or redundant features have also been removed, including \Mathproba, \onlymathC, the otherReIm option, and \iif. Version: 0.2.0 2026-08-15 License: lppl1.3c Summary description: APA 7 citation rendering for Traditional Chinese prose Announcement text: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- biblatex-apa-zh adapts APA 7 citation rendering to Traditional Chinese prose. It is a companion package for biblatex-apa, which ships localisation files for more than twenty languages, but none for Chinese. The package separates two things that are easy to conflate. The language of the running text determines citation punctuation, and is set by a package option: Chinese prose takes full-width parentheses and commas. The language of each cited work determines its name strings and the punctuation of its bibliography entry, and is read from the langid field of that entry, so a single reference list may mix Chinese and Western works. Unlike the autolang mechanism of biblatex, it does not require babel or polyglossia, which makes it usable in the common xeCJK setup. The strings and bibliography punctuation follow the traditional Chinese academic convention as used in Taiwan. Simplified Chinese conventions differ and are not covered by this release.
