Grigorii Moiseev submitted the
suai-report
package.
Version: 2.6 2026-10-02
License: mit
Summary description: Reports for Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation
Announcement text:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
suai-report is a new package for typesetting student reports
(lab works, coursework, practice reports) at Saint Petersburg
State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI) according
to the Russian standards GOST 7.32-2017 and GOST 2.105-2019.
The title page reproduces the official university form;
page layout, headings, table of contents, captions, tables,
figures, equations, listings, appendices and the list of sources
follow the standard without configuration.
Line-based block commands keep the source short.
The package requires XeLaTeX.
The documentation and the demo report are in Russian.

Anselm Wagner submitted an update to the
robotkarol
package.
Version: 3.10 2026-09-24
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Worlds and block programs of the German teaching environment Robot Karol
Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
robotkarol has been updated to version 3.10. New in this version: the karolwelt
key `nummern` writes coordinates along the edges of a world; the new key
`auftrag=aufbauen|aufraeumen` replaces the former switch `aufraeumen`; field
numbers of `\karolzeile` (and its hervorheben key) now count from 1, like x= and
y= in `karolwelt`; `karolwelt` no longer starts a new paragraph, so two worlds
can stand side by side in running text.

Dohyun Kim submitted an update to the
luamplib
package.
Version: 2.44.1 2026-10-02
License: gpl2
Summary description: Use LuaTeX’s built-in MetaPost interpreter
Announcement text:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
* fix externalize functionality for the cases when:
- '--lua=foo.lua', for instance, is a command-line option
- 'luatex' is not in the PATH
* [doc] be more precise about the directory where external files are saved
* [doc] fix the explanation about the 'externalize=true' option
* Basically, externalize functionality now uses one big external image file
rather than several small files to reduce the PDF file size and improve
the compilation speed. But when you modify already externalized code
chunks, small individual files will be generated and be included in the
PDF file. So it is a good idea to delete the external files if you have
modified lots of code chunks after the initial run of externalization.

Liam Huang submitted an update to the
zhnumber
package.
Version: 3.1
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Typeset Chinese representations of numbers
Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This release of zhnumber v3.1 adds counting-rod numeral support, new date formatting options, several bug fixes, and compatibility updates.
NEW FEATURES
- Added counting-rod numerals `\zhrod` and `\zhrodbox`, along with the configuration command `\zhrodsetup` (#366).
- Added support for outputting year-only or year-and-month dates.
BUG FIXES
- Fixed a typo where `\zhdigwithoptions` passed its options as an extra argument to `\zhnum_digits_counter:n`. Previously, `\zhdig` with options would error with "Use of \??? doesn't match its definition" and produce garbled output (#1008).
- Fixed a typo where the `Tn` key was bound to the Heavenly-Stems-and-Earthly-Branches (干支) variable instead of the Heavenly Stems (天干) variable. Setting `Tn` previously affected the output of `\zhganzhi` rather than `\zhtiangan` (#1077).
IMPROVEMENTS
- Documented the behavior of option-bearing forms when written to auxiliary files: the counter value is frozen at write time, while the style is applied when the auxiliary file is read back (#1008).
- `\zhnum` and `\zhdig` with options now expand the counter to its numeric value before passing it to the underlying implementation, so that the counter value is frozen when written to `.toc` and similar auxiliary files (#1008).
- Replaced the deprecated `\keys_set_filter:nnnN` with `\keys_set_exclude_groups:nnnN` to avoid errors under debug mode starting from l3kernel 2026-09-09 (#1095).
- Raised the minimum required LaTeX3 version to 2025/10/09.
