Oliver Kopp submitted an update to the
scientific-thesis-cover
package.
Version: 5.0.0
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Provides cover page and affirmation at the end of a thesis
Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
### Changed
- The cover page follows the current layout requirements of the Faculty of Computer Science: university name (or logo) on top, institute and its address as separate blocks, fixed positions for thesis type, title, author, and the examination data. The postal code is written without the "D–" prefix.
- The package requires LaTeX 2020-10-01 or newer.
- English cover labels follow the layout requirements: "Study program", "Advisor", "Start date", and "End date".
- The options `supervisor` and `course` are now called `advisor` and `studyprogram`. The old names still work.
### Fixed
- The cover page is now centered regardless of the margins set by the document class or packages such as `geometry` (e.g., with the masters-doctoral-thesis template). See [#9](https://github.com/latextemplates/scientific-thesis-cover/issues/9).
- A custom institute with several lines (`institute={...\\...}`) is centered line by line. See [latextemplates/scientific-thesis-template#145](https://github.com/latextemp….
- Option values may contain `\\` and commands, e.g., a department below the institute or two advisors; `kvoptions-patch` is only needed with an older LaTeX distribution. See [#4](https://github.com/latextemplates/scientific-thesis-cover/issues/4) and [#5](https://github.com/latextemplates/scientific-thesis-cover/issues/5).
- German declaration: "Hilfsmitel" is now spelled "Hilfsmittel". See [latextemplates/scientific-thesis-template#191](https://github.com/latextemp….

Summary description: Use Unicode combining accents in math input with LuaLaTeX
Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.1 stacks several combining characters on one base character instead of
converting only the first: "x" + U+0302 + U+0302 is now rewritten on input to
"\hat{\hat x}", with the first combining character nearest the base. Previously
the characters after the first were passed through unchanged and usually
produced no output.
