Alan Munn submitted an update to the
movement-arrows
package.
Version: 2.0 2023-06-02
License: lppl1.3
Summary description: Drawing movement arrows on linguistic example sentences
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The movement-arrows package supplies simple support for drawing
arrows between elements in text or math. Its origin comes from
linguistics, where drawing arrows between words is often used
as an indication that the word or phrase has moved, hence the
package name. Because of this origin, the package is aware of
the main linguistics packages for example sentences and can be
used with those packages, but does not require you to use of
any of them. Arrows can also be annotated with labels.
The package uses TikZ as a base, and various properties of
the arrows can be adjusted using TikZ styles.
The package has been tested with the gb4e, linguex,
covington and ExPex example packages.
Version 2.0 fixes some linguistics spacing problems and also
changes the basic command names to avoid name conflicts with
other packages. It also adds a non-arrow version of the command.

Version: 2.10 2023-06-02
License: lppl1.3
Summary description: LaTeX macros for Linguistics
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
- Use LaTeX's own keyval mechanism rather than xkeyval.
- Introduce a better interface to customize the appearance of examples.
Now everything can be easily adjusted globally and locally via key-val
options. This entails the following changes:
* Allow to globally set example options via the new macro setexampleoptions.
* Add way to customize example and subexample number format.
* Add new example options: fs, fsno, fspreamble, fspostamble, leftmargin,
addnumbersep, addsubnumbersep, numberformat, subnumberformat, and
fnnumberformat.
- Add new gloss options: fspreamble, fspostamble, fstl, and enquotetl.
This allows for full customization of glosses via options, both
locally and globally.
- Package options now all have a key-value format as well.
- Introduce new package choice-option fnexamplecounter that supersedes
the two boolean, mutually exclusive options ownfncounter and ownfncounter*
(which are still supported for backwards compatibility reasons).
- Major documentation revisions.
