Finally -- a pict2e.sty!

i have just installed a new directory macros/latex/contrib/pict2e, which contains a distribution of the new (real) pict2e package, as documented in lamport, 2nd edition. from the readme: This package was described in the 2nd edition of LaTeX: A Document Preparation System, but the LaTeX project team declined to produce the package. For a long time, LaTeX has included a pict2e package that merely produced an apologetic error message. The new package extends the existing LaTeX picture environment, using the familiar technique (cf. the graphics and color packages) of driver files. The package documentation (pict2e.dtx) has a fair number of examples of use, showing where things are improved by comparison with the LaTeX picture environment. Please delete all files in macros/latex/contrib/ppr-prv before putting the ones in the archive, because I now distribute ppr-prv as a dtx file. This class is used with LaTeX presentations using the prosper class. ppr-prv stands for Prosper Preview. The aim of this class is to produce a printable version of the slides written with Prosper, with two slides per page. Changes since previous version are: * New ppr-prv option: nopagebreak, to have more than two slides per page ; * ppr-prv is now distributed as a .dtx file ; * Better handling of options: you can now pass to the article class the usual options for setting the paper and font sizes ; * Use of the 'geometry' package to set margins ; * I set a minimum height for the frame around the slides ; * Bug: the optional argument of itemstep was not handle when using HA-prosper ; * ppr-prv supports HA-prosper 3.9 ('indent' option on dualslide and 'enumstep' environment). ----- End forwarded message ----- Thanks for the upload. It should be installed in the existing dir macros/latex/contrib/ha-prosper. Among the new features you will find automatic generation of a table of contents on each slide, support for notes, portrait slides support and lots more. And available styles demonstrate how to expand the functionality of prosper even further. The latest update contains support for a split toc and permanent highlighting of sections in the toc. Furthermore, an enumstep environment has been added, the possibility to nest this into itemstep environments has been added, these environments got extra options, the package option blackslide has been added and some small bugs have been solved. I have uploaded ledmini.sty to UK incoming. Please use this to replace the current /macros/latex/contrib/ledmac/ledmini.sty. ledmini.sty is an experimental package to enable ledmac's line numbering and footnotes to work in a minipage environment. This version (2004/02/24) includes an environment that can break across pages and puts enclosed footnotes at the end of the environment, which might be in the middle of a page.
