CTAN has a new package: pst-math

Name of contribution: pst-math Author's name: Christophe Jorssen Location on CTAN: graphics/pstricks/contrib/pst-math Summary description: Enhancement of postscript math operators to use with pstricks License type: lppl Announcement text given by the package's contributor: - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Postscript lacks a lot of basic operators such as tan, acos, asin, cosh, sinh, tanh, acosh, asinh, atanh, exp (with e base). Also, cos and sin give result in degrees. pst-math provides all those operators in a header file pst-math.pro with wrappers pst-math.sty and pst-math.tex. In addition, sinc, gauss, gammaln and bessel are implemented (only partially for the latter). pst-math is designed essentially to work with pst-plot but can be used in whatever PS code (such as pstricks SpecialCoor !, useful to put labels). This work is in progress! PS is limited to single precision so complex operators like gammaln can give erroneous results. Here is the summary of the non-editorial changes: * Inputs for TeX extensions included under `tex', instead of in their own top-level directories. * New top-level directory `scripts'. * New subdirectories `lig', `opentype', `truetype', and `type3' under `fonts'. * `enc', `lig', and `map' all use `SYNTAX/PACKAGE' subdirectories. * `pfm' files specified to go under `type1', and `inf' files under `afm'. There is more information and rationale for each of these changes cross-referenced in the document. This version is triggered by a bug report. Using large bib files containing @String can lock NEdit (sorry for this). For all changes see the Changelog. Please remove all of the files in the NEdit LaTeX Extensions folder and add the submitted files to this folder. Text for announcement: The NEdit LaTeX-Mode is a package or set of macros, i.e. small programs, written in the NEdit macro or scripting language. It will turn NEdit, the Nirvana text editor, into an advanced LaTeX editor. Version 0.8a fixes some problems. If you have downloaded version 0.8, it will be enough to come to http://nedit.gmxhome.de/latexmode.html and download only the changed files (instead of the whole package). ----- End forwarded message ----- Thanks for the upload. Moreoever all know bugs have been removed and also some new features added as the long awaiting auto-numbering lines option. Algorithm2e is an environment for writing algorithms. An algorithm is defined as a floating object like figures. It provides macros that allow you to create different sorts of key words, thus a set of predefined keyword is given. You can also change the typography of the keywords. The environment allows you to have vertical lines delimiting block of instructions.
