The goal was to provide optimal quality and comfort on a mobile handset when rendered in application menus, web browsers and for other screen text. The Droid family of fonts consists of Droid Serif, Droid Sans and Droid Sans Mono, licensed under the Apache License Version 2.0, and available in the Android Git tree. This package provides support for this font in LaTeX. It is licensed under the LaTeX project public license version 1.3c or above, except the fonts delivered under the Apache License version 2.0. LaTeX material could also be rotated and typeset on top of a white box overshadowing graphics. Coordinates of LaTeX boxes are given relative to the original, unscaled graphics, when graphics is rescaled, LaTeX annotations stay at their right places (unless you do something extreme). Story Summary description: Create a Flash Slide show of digital photos License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The fldigigal package uses the rmannot package (Adobe Distiller workflow required) to create, what I am calling, an AcroTeX Flash Digital Gallery; that is, a Flash slide show that displays a series of digitals (PNG, JPG, GIF). The document author describes the digitals (path and caption) from the LaTeX source, on compilation, fldigigal write an XML file, which Distiller embeds in the PDF. The digitals may be embedded in the PDF, or reside on the Internet (reducing filesize). Three layouts of are offered at this time: vertical thumbnails, horizontal thumbnails, or no thumbnails. On Wed, 22 Dec 2010, Jürgen Vollmer submitted an update to the latex2man package. License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Latex2man is a tool to translate UNIX manual pages written with LaTeX into the troff format understood by the UNIX man(1)-command. Alternatively HTML, TexInfo, or LaTeX code can be produced too. Output of parts of the text may be supressed using the conditional text feature (for this, LaTeX generation may be used). There is LaTeX package (latex2man.sty) used for writing the Man-page and a PERL script (latex2man) doing the actual translation. License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This update adds AtBeginOfPackageFile, AtEndOfPackageFile, AtBeginOfClassFile and AtEndOfClassFile hook macros to execute code before or after packages or classes. Special care is taken to execute the AtEnd code after any code inserted by the package or class itself using the standard LaTeX macros AtBeginOfPackage/AtBeginOfClass. This version now triggers an error when a incompatible definition of InputIfFileExists is detected. An option 'force' is provided to overwrite this.
