New on CTAN: coop-writing
by CTAN Announcements 15 Jan '22

15 Jan '22

Geraldo Xexéo submitted the coop-writing package. Version: 1.2.4 2022-01-13 License: mit Summary description: Support for Cooperative Writing and editorial comments Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- coop-writing, for Cooperative Writing, supports editorial comments and gives some extra support for writing and submitting papers, such as anonymization commands for any document that involves more than one author or editor. The general behavior of this package is to provide different ways of marking your text, for example with comments or to do notes, suggestions to add, remove or change text that can be totally supressed from the output when desired. Mostly, this can be easily done using one of the three main option states: editing, submit, and publish. Users should use the editing state most of the time. In this state, all markings will appear and the anonymization will be off. When submitting, the submit state will provide a clean article, without any markings, but anonymized. It is possible to use the options submit and noanonymize together. Publish will never anonymize. The goal is to make the submit and publish documents states minimally invasive, to avoid any clash with publishers’ styles. Commands were inspired from different packages that don’t work together very well, such as ed, todonotes and color-edits. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/coop-writing The package’s files themselves can be inspected at https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/coop-writing/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for the upload. Version number: 0.95j 2022-01-13 License type: lppl1.3c Summary description: LaTeX PDF management testphase bundle Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ### Changed - the keys `firstaidoff` and `pdfmanagement` should now be set with the `debug` key. - `testphase` will now load files from the latex-lab bundle. The value `tagpdf` for the `testphase` key has been deprecated. It will not error for some time and has been aliased to `phase-II`, but it is recommended to use the new values `phase-I` and `phase-II` instead. - renamed `DeclareDocumentMetadata` to `DocumentMetadata` (the older version is still provided) to follow the development in latex-dev ### Fixed - adapted the file hooks to the changes in LaTeX - small bugs ### Removed - the `activate` key has been removed, its function is integrated in the testphase key. ### Added - preliminary support for structure destination to prepare for binary changes in texlive 2022 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This package is located at https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/pdfmanagement-testphase More information is at https://www.ctan.org/pkg/pdfmanagement-testphase ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for the upload.
