Jean-François Burnol submitted an update to the
texdimens
package.
Version: 0.9 2021-07-21
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Conversion of TeX dimensions to decimals
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
v0.9 (2021/07/21)
- breaking changes: all user macros have changed their names
and now use the exdimen namespace prefix and not exdimin
as formerly.
- new: exdimenbothincmsp{<dim. expr.>} expands to an INT N
such that Nsp is the largest dimension at most equal to the
input and exactly representable with the in and also with the
cm units. And similar macros to produce the same dimension but
as a decimal to be used with either in, cm or pt.

Phelype Oleinik submitted an update to the
lipsum
package.
Version: 2.4
License: lppl1.3
Summary description: Easy access to the Lorem Ipsum and other dummy texts
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
### Fixed
- Removed spurious group around `lipsum` to avoid problems with, for
example, `wrapfig` (gh/1).
### Added
- Czech dummy text provided by Ondřej Macek.
- `setlipsum` macro to change options in the document.
- `hyphens` option to turn on/off hyphenation pattern selection.
### Removed
- `setlipsumdefault` (superseded by `SetLipsumDefault`).
- Some undocumented `expl3` interfaces (most of them kind of useless).
- Undocumented `IfLipsumText` function.
### Changed
- Reorder text sources: sources are plain text and generated text files
are plain-friendly.
- Various internal changes for `expl3` code style compliance.
- Added own range parsing to avoid low-level errors on missing range
argument, e.g. `lipsum[]` (gh/5).
- Empty (optional) range arguments are now equivalent to not using the
argument at all (that is, `lipsum[]` is equivalent to `lipsum`).
- Use Unicode characters in `lipsum-cicero.txt` instead of text
commands.
- Use hyphenation patterns according to the language of the dummy text.

Hood Chatham submitted an update to the
spectralsequences
package.
Version number: 1.3.0 2021-07-18
License type: lppl
Summary description: Print spectral sequence diagrams using PGF/TikZ
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The new version consists primarily of two years of deferred
maintenance. I fixed various incompatibilities with newer versions of
expl3 and tikz. I also set up continuous integration to run on each
version of texlive between 2016 and 2021 inclusive, so this should make
it possible to ensure I am not breaking old versions. I also added a
start to a test suite, but it is far from complete.
Other than the maintenance improvements, 1.3.0 includes first class
support for extensions and the E_{infty} page, options to disable the
range checker or indicate that the figure is being included rotated
(and automatic integration with the sideways environment) and a number
of other bug fixes and improvements.
