----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am pleased to announce the release of v1.1 of my mciteplus LaTeX
package:
http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/mciteplus/
which is a reimplementation of Thorsten Ohl's mcite package:
http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/mcite/
which provides support for the grouping of multiple citations together
as is often done in physics journals. An extensive set of features
provide for other applications such as reference sublisting.
V1.1 is a bugfix release with the following changes:
1) Corrected error message when a tail is declared again under a different
head.
2) Updated IEEEtranM.bst and IEEEtranMN.bst to IEEEtran.bst v1.13 code base.
Enjoy!

Summary description: Minimal inputenc for LuaTeX
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This file provides a quick support for input encondings in LuaLaTeX
(font encodings and languages will follow shortly). It is intended mainly
for test purposes, and not as a true input encoding mechanism taking
advantage of the possibilities provided by LuaTeX.
When used with LuaTeX, you can use two encodings--namely latin1 and
utf8. It will give wrong results with the T1 font encoding, because
fontenc relies on the LICR, so a lua-fontenc is on the way. With the
package option activechars, it calls inputenc, and the LICR mechanism
based on active chars is used. With standard TeX, lua-inputenc just
calls inputenc (ie, activechars is the default).

Name of contribution: latexmk
Author's name: John Collins
Location on CTAN: /support/latexmk
Summary description: Fully automated LaTeX document generation program
License type: gpl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Latexmk completely automates the process of generating a LaTeX document.
Given the source files for a document, latexmk issues the appropriate
sequence of commands to generate a .dvi, .ps, .pdf or hardcopy version of
the document.
An important feature is its preview continuous mode, where it watches
all of the source files (primary file and included TeX and graphics
files), and reruns LaTeX etc whenever a source file has changed. Thus a
previewer can have an updated display whenever the source files change.
The new version (4.01) has important improvements over the
previous released version (3.07a):
1. A new method of detecting when a new run of latex is required.
This deals robustly with certain macro packages that generate and
then read in the generated files on a subsequent run of
latex/pdflatex.
2. Much better configurability of the external commands invoked by
latexmk.
3. Indexing works with packages multind, and index, as well as
makeidx.
4. Many bug fixes and smaller improvements in response to user
requests.
