Petr KrajnÃk submitted the
parstat
package.
Version: 1.0
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: A Paragraph statistic package for OpTeX
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Parstat is a package for the OpTeX format that counts glyphs and
spaces on paragraph lines. From these numbers a statistic is made,
which is printed into the logfile. It’s intended for checking
the optimal range of characters and words on paragraph lines
when designing a new layout.
No external tools are needed, as all is done in Lua inside the
TeX engine. Due to this, it integrates perfectly into our
specific work. We can omit what we don’t want in the results.
It’s also very fast and consumes no extra memory.
I know it’s a small and simple package, but I believe
that it could be useful for someone else...
