CTAN update: tkz-doc
by CTAN Announcements via ctan-ann 21 Oct '26

21 Oct '26

Alain Matthes submitted an update to the tkz-doc package. Version: 1.46c 2026-10-20 License: lppl1.3 Summary description: Documentation macros for the TKZ series of packages Announcement text: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ## [1.46c] — 2026/10/20 The text of the documents is the same as with 1.45c (checked page by page on the documentation of tkz-tab, tkz-graph, alterqcm, tkzexample and tkz-doc), but the index changes. ### Changed - The index no longer contains the wrong entries written by `NewMacroBox` (name and arguments together, e.g. `\Edge[local options](Vertex A)...`) and by `NewEnvBox` (`\begin{...}`, `\end{...}`); the correct entries are kept. - `\TeX` is robust again, as in the LaTeX kernel: an index entry that contains `\TeX` (e.g. `\tkzNamePack{Lua\TeX}`) may be sorted differently. - `\tikzstyle` (deprecated) replaced by `\tikzset` for the styles `mybox`, `fancytitle` and `title`. - Identification part (`\NeedsTeXFormat`, `\ProvidesClass`) placed first; LaTeX 2020/10/01 or later is required. - Option `cadre`: `pgfornament` is loaded automatically if the document does not load it (only a warning if it is not installed). - `\url` and `\href` are no longer needed: the cover and `\presentation` use them only if a package (`hyperref`, `url`) defines them. ### Added - `\tkzmailofauthor`: e-mail address used by `\presentation` (default `al.ma(a)mac.com`, as before). - Default values for the colours (`myblue`, `sectioncolor`, `titlecolorbox`, `framecolor`) when `tkz-doc.cfg` is not found, and for the macros `\tkznameofpack`, `\tkzversionofpack`, `\tkzversionofdoc`, `\tkzauthorofpack`, `\tkznamecollection`, `\tkzurlauthor`, `\tkzurlauthorcom`. - The documentation explains the class (options, cover, colours, boxes, macros for names, arguments and index, tables, layout). ### Fixed - `\presentation` can be used more than once (`\newlength` was inside the macro). - `\tkzTitleFrame`: fragile commands in the title no longer break (`\protected@edef` instead of `\edef`). - `\tkzNameMacro` and `\TMline` no longer index their argument twice. - `\tkzSetUpColors` no longer adds spurious spaces. - Duplicate definitions of `\TeX`, `\LaTeX` and `\LATEX` removed. - The KOMA-Script internal `\idx@heading` is redefined only if it exists. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This package is located at https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/tkz-doc More information is at https://ctan.org/pkg/tkz-doc -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for the upload. by CTAN Announcements 21 Oct '26

21 Oct '26

Alain Matthes submitted an update to the tkz-tab package. Version: 2.13c 2026-10-19 License: lppl1.3c Summary description: Tables of signs and variations using PGF/TikZ Announcement text: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ## [2.13] — 2026/10/05 ### Changed - Keys use `pgfkeys` instead of `xkeyval`: same names, same default values, defaults reset at each call as before (`\tkzTabSetup` included). - `\tkzTabVar`: the 31 symbols are keys `/tkztab/var/<symbol>` (the long cascade of `\ifthenelse` is removed); a new symbol can be added with `\pgfkeys{/tkztab/var/<symbol>/.code={...}}`. - `\tkzTabLine`: the symbols `z`, `t`, `d`, `h` are keys `/tkztab/line/odd/<s>` and `/tkztab/line/even/<s>`. - Useless `\makeatletter`/`\makeatother` removed (`\tkzTabLine`, `\tkzDrawArrow`). - `xkeyval` is no longer loaded: a document that used it without loading it must now load it. ### Fixed - Option `help` of `\tkzTabInit`, `\tkzTabLine` and `\tkzTabVar`: the labels of the nodes failed (`Undefined control sequence`) with the TikZ library `babel` when the picture is inside an environment that reads its content again, such as `tkzexample`. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This package is located at https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/tkz/tkz-tab More information is at https://ctan.org/pkg/tkz-tab -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for the upload.
