It defines a new environment stammbaum, wherein all elements of the scheme are defined. Afterwards all necessary dimensions are calculated and the scheme is drawn. Currently two steps of symmetry reduction are supported. Das Paket gu.sty erleichtert das Setzen von einfachen kristallographischen Gruppe-Untergruppe-Schemata im Bärnighausen-Formalismus und/oder Lagenfortführungstabellen. Die einzelnen Elemente und Abstände werden innerhalb einer neuen Umgebung namens stammbaum mittels vorgegebener Kommandos definiert. Admittedly, this makes the document far less attractive. Nevertheless, savetrees is a simple way to save paper when printing draft copies of a document. It can also be useful when trying to meet a tight page-length requirement for a conference or journal submission. Version 1.2 of savetrees adds code to discourage TeX from permitting paragraphs to end with a lone word. It also sets the top and bottom margins to nonzero values because that was too ugly even for savetrees.
