Mainly, it is meant to embed or append frames with details on some subject. This is the very first version! It's still considered experimental! Everything, including the name and the user interface, may change in the future. New CTAN package: chemnum

On Mon, 27 Jun 2011 Clemens Niederberger submitted the chemnum package. Summary description: chemnum is a new and hopefully comprehensive approach for the numbering of chemical compounds. It is vaguely inspired by the chemcompounds package. License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The package defines a label- and ef-like commands for compound numbers. Basically two main commands are provided, cmpd{<label name>} and cmpdlist{<comma separated list of label names>}. With them compound labels are initialized, declared and printed.
