Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Weakly rounded inner corners for the default style, and the new styles
rounded, glows and goo
- The position and alignment patterns can be drawn as shapes of their own and
colored apart from the data
- Codes render about five times faster, and the randomized styles are
reproducible with a fixed seed
- Bug fixes: frame is readable by a scanner again, and gradient angle is read
in degrees rather than radians

xlistings
package.
Version: 1.0.0 2026-08-17
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Opinionated extensions to the listings package
Announcement text:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
xlistings is an opinionated extension to the listings package.
It provides a simpler front-end for code blocks, language-sensitive
highlighting of numbers (hexadecimal literals, exponents, and type
suffixes such as 10L in Java or 3j in Python), a drop-in replacement
for the minted environment, per-language wrapper macros and environments,
non-selectable line numbers based on accsupp, language badges, and
definitions for a set of common languages that are loaded on demand.
This is the first release on CTAN.
Language definitions are installed as xlistings-<language>.cfg. Both
\LoadLanguages{<language>} and private, unprefixed <language>.cfg files
continue to work unchanged.
The package is licensed under the LaTeX Project Public License 1.3c.

Antoine Missier submitted an update to the
mismath
package.
Version: 3.3 2026-08-16
License: lppl1.3
Summary description: Miscellaneous mathematical macros
Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 3.3 of mismath is available.
This release provides extended support for a few Greek letters used as special constants and operators, with new commands.
New features include the lineargroups and textshortcuts options, alternatives to the single-letter macros through the nosingleletter option, and a number of new mathematical commands, including \innerprod, \FT, \LT, \asympteq, \compl, \integerint, \floor, \H, \Hv, \dom, \codom, \ran, \ord, \supp, and \card.
The \norm and \pow macros have been improved to handle normal-sized arguments, and \eqdef* has been modified to provide a better fallback when \upDelta is unavailable.
Some obsolete or redundant features have also been removed, including \Mathproba, \onlymathC, the otherReIm option, and \iif.
The documentation has been substantially revised and extended, with new examples, references, considerations on single-letter macros, and an index.

phtitration
package.
Version: 1.0.0 2026-08-16
License: mit
Summary description: Draw highly accurate pH titration curves using TikZ and pgfplots
Announcement text:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am pleased to announce the initial release (v1.0.0) of
the phtitration package.
This package provides LaTeX macros to render highly accurate
pH-metric titration curves using TikZ and pgfplots.
By employing exact mass and charge balance parametric equations,
it ensures smooth, continuous curves without the visual breaks
typical of piecewise approximations.
Key features:
- Supports 8 standard acid-base titration types (including polyprotic).
- Automatically draws the tangent method (méthode des tangentes) at
equivalence points.
- Highly customizable styles, coordinate labels, and units.
Thank you!

Kyle Monette submitted the
matrixdiagrams
package.
Version: 1.0
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Create structured matrix diagrams using TikZ
Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This new matrixdiagrams package generates schematic diagrams in TikZ to
visualize specific structures within matrices, such as bidiagonal, tridiagonal,
and Hessenberg forms. Users can also fill in matrix portions with color, add
text labels, and draw vertical and horizontal lines to represent partitions.
Diagrams can be independently scaled in size and aspect, enabling more realistic
and relative drawings, such as those used in matrix factorizations.
