Ulrike Fischer submitted an update to the
tagpdf
package.
Version number: 0.98 2022-12-22
License type: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Tools for experimenting with tagging using pdfLaTeX and LuaLaTeX
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 0.98 [2022-12-22]
### Added
- started with dedicated latex name spaces
- namespaces definitions have been externalized and are now read from files.
- rules to check if a tag is allowed as child in the current structure. If not allow
a warning is issued, more messages can be activated with log=v.
- The data for namespaces and rules are in a new module, tagpdf-data.dtx.
### Changed
- adding a new tag with add-new-tag now requires that the target role is
defined. Unknown roles error.
- RoleMap object is no longer written in PDF 2.0 as it uses namespaces
- in pdf < 2.0 rolemaps are resolved to the PDF standard.
- Structure destinations are used in PDF < 2.0 too -- they don't harm and
can improve html export.
- agmcbegin no longer requires to use the tag key: the value from the surrounding
structure will be used.

Karl Berry submitted an update to the
cm-tfm
package.
Version:
License: knuth
Summary description: Metric files for the Computer Modern fonts
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This update replaces the contents of https://ctan.org/tex-archive/cm/tfm/
with the 75 TFM files generated from the official Computer Modern Metafont
sources. These TFM files have been distributed since the beginning of
TeX Live, and in its predecessors, without changes. (Don Knuth does not
officially distribute the TFM files.)
Somehow, almost all of the cm*.tfm files on CTAN had an extra null byte
at the end, dating from their initial creation in 1992, in the early
days of CTAN. We (CTAN+me) do not know how that null byte got in there.
The result is that tftopl issues a warning on them (There's some extra
junk...).
Also, this cm/tfm/ directory previously contained some non-CM TFM files,
namely dummy.tfm, manfnt.tfm, old_manfnt.tfm, and cmsa10.tfm. The first
two are available elsewhere on CTAN, in their respective packages. The
latter two we do not know the provenance of, but you can get them from
the /obsolete CTAN tree if need be.

Slurp submitted an update to the
pdfMsym
package.
Version number: 1.1.0
License type: mit
Summary description: PDF Math Symbols — various drawn mathematical symbols
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
pdfMsym version 1.1.0 fixes bugs, implements new features, and enhances existing
features.
+ Bugfixes:
Due to an oversight, @firstoftwo and @secondoftwo were redefined to not be
long, which would cause errors.
+ Features:
+ under-vectors: as well as going on top of material, vectors can now go below
material as well using their under-vector counterparts.
+ double stroke arrows: double stroke vectors, like variants of TeX's
Rightarrow, have also been added and can be used in the same manner as their
single stroke counterparts.
+ arbitrary dimensional closed line integrals: oiNint creates an arbitrary
size version of oint, oiint, etc macros. iNint does the same for sqint.
+ more miscellaneous symbols have been added.
+ Tweaks:
+ Altered some line caps slightly.
+ Made some macros more versatile.
